By accessing or using Cihang (cihang.app), you agree to be bound by this User Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Cihang is intended for users in Singapore, Malaysia, and the global Chinese-speaking diaspora. This service does not target mainland China (PRC) and has not obtained PRC regulatory approvals for religious or AI-generated content services.

Cihang is a devotional sanctuary dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva. It offers culturally authentic Buddhist practices including a digital altar, sutra reading, Buddhist calendar, and fortune drawing (觀音靈籤).

Fortune drawing features are rooted in traditional temple practice and are provided for spiritual reflection and cultural engagement. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind — financial, legal, medical, or otherwise.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Cihang. By using the app you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are between 16 and 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use Cihang.

Fortune drawing history is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in, synced to your account in encrypted form. You may delete your history at any time.

If you delete your account, all associated encrypted data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

We collect minimal personal data necessary to provide the service — including account identifiers and usage analytics. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

You agree to use Cihang respectfully and in accordance with its devotional purpose. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or misuse the platform, its APIs, or the spiritual content it contains.

All content provided by Cihang — including sutra translations, fortune lot interpretations, design elements, and software — is protected by copyright. Traditional Buddhist texts are in the public domain; Cihang's translations, curation, and presentation remain proprietary.

Cihang provides a digital space for personal devotion and cultural practice. It is not affiliated with any temple, religious organisation, or clergy, and does not represent authoritative Buddhist doctrine.

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cihang and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

We may update this agreement from time to time. Continued use of Cihang after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of material changes through in-app notices.
